|cuteness overload, right?|
I had intended to show you our Easter table today. But that was before my pal, Courtney, at Courtney Out Loud, posted his rockstar tablescape and I realized I forgot stemware! And I have the perfect glasses, so the table will have to wait!
I hope Courtney realizes the sacrifice I'm making by telling you about his tablescape post.
1. My table will pale in comparison. The man has mad table-setting skills.Let's consider it my good deed of the Easter Season. Check out his table, but don't enter the giveaway. Mmmkay?
2. Once you hop over there, you'll see his post also includes a pretty rocking Giveaway.
3. A Giveaway I'd trade a pot full of baby bunnies for....and I'm diluting my chances of winning by shouting about it from the rooftops. Or blog, whichever.
Instead of my full table, I'll show you one of the DIY Projects from it...Magnolia Chargers!
As you know, we're having a new fence put in the backyard. I was bummed when the Magnolia tree had to be trimmed, but perked up as soon as I remembered this project. Instead of piling the branches for the dump, I plucked off the beautiful, naturally-shiny leaves.
Soaking them in water overnight took care of any 'friends' that may have been hanging around the leaves. Using a paper plate, I hot glued a ring of large leaves around the perimeter, then filled in a second layer using smaller leaves. It took about 5 minutes!
The dinner plate fits right on top and the leaves add a beautiful, natural touch to the table. And because I feel bad about not having the full post ready, or I'm just a hardcore tease, you decide, here's another little peek.
Are you doing any Easter decorating?
